We’re down to Conference Championship week
January 18, 2010
Well the NFL playoffs are starting to really heat up now, with just the four best teams left to face off in the Championship Games this Sunday. The first game will be the AFC Championship Game at 3:00p.m., with the NFC Championship going down at 6:40p.m. These are some huge games, and across the world fans are discussing who is going to come out on top. Three of the teams have been great all year and were on many people’s list as most likely to be selling Super Bowl tickets in February. Both the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts had perfect seasons through week 14, however both failed to end the regular season with a perfect record. And while the Vikings lost a game early, they were dominant for most of the season so its no big surprise to see them selling NFC Championship tickets right now.
The one remaining team that struggled a bit during the season were the New York Jets. They were up and down for most of the season, however they have been playing incredible football ever since upsetting the Colts in week 16. Now they’ll try to do it again against a Colts team that blew away the defensive-minded Baltimore Ravens. This should be a very good game, and AFC Championship tickets are in high demand all over. Can the Jets continue their improbable run toward Super Bowl XLIV, or will they fall to the seemingly unbeatable Peyton Manning? This will be a game full of turns, and it can all come down to one big play. The NFL Playoff schedule has seen some very good moments so far but the best is still to come if you like your NFL football.
